Lose the excuses like that you need to invest lots of money because you don't have tools and materials or that you have no idea where to begin.

 

It's Winter, days are short, it is cold outside, job hours are 8-16, and when you get home it is already dark.
Weekends are filled with obligations and again no luck with catching the light. You are left with some free time in the evening, light gathered from chandelier, table lamp... and constant struggle with bad photos no matter how hard you try.

 


People often ask me to describe them my process of jewelry making from an idea to finished jewelry piece.

I decided to write something on this subject, because just a few minutes ago I got an idea for a bracelet design and I had to, which is totally atypical for me, make a drawing of it.

 


Though I love every jewelry piece I make and it is hard for me to separate from pieces that find a new home, I rarely keep the jewelry I make for sale. But we know the old saying that the exceptions make the rule.

 

One of the favorite necklaces I made went on a long trip from Croatia to far Australia so I had to make sure it gets there with as much comfort and safety I could provide.
I have few of this sad, unused metal boxes left and forgotten after we ate all the candies they sheltered, so I decided to find them a new purpose in life and turned them into decorated boxes for jewelry.
I'm a total beginner when it comes to decoupage technique, but this little I know was enough to realize the idea I had in mind.
