It all started seven years ago. I discovered a possibility to make a jewelry I like.
I bought my first pliers, first wire and started to dismantle seed bead string necklaces I had in my jewelry box and created my first pieces of jewelry.

They were scratchylly made, far from representative, but they were mine and I wore them with such a pride like I was wearing a crown jewels.
At that point, I was still without an Internet and the learning process was limited to a few advice from a dear friend of mine who was making jewelry for some time, and a method of trial and error.
The Internet brought some new friends, girls who in the warmth of their homes were coiling, wire wrapping, shaping clay or making Tiffany jewelry… Soon after that first contact, the „Workshop of dreams“ forum was established, which became our second home, the place where we were showing our work to the world, exchanging ideas and knowledge. We started with ten members, and that number rised to a few hundreds in a short period of time.
On the Internet I also discovered blog, a place where I was able to show my work to a larger number of people, and foreign pages where I found interesting and very useful tutorials for a beginners in jewelry making.
Craft stores were rare and the offer limited. With time, the interest in crafts increased, they expanded their offer and we were able to buy better quality materials.
Ebay, Etsy and other similar pages became my personal Eldorado, on which I was able to buy materials that in Croatia weren't available, with only one click of a mouse.

Lots of work, effort and practice brought first results, I have participated in my first exhibitions and some people showed their interest in buying my jewelry.
Jewelry making is my passion, getaway from daily routine, way to relax and a form of creativity in which I'm able to express myself most successfully.
Every day I learn something new, the possibilities are unlimited and my great desire is to get a formal education in goldsmithing.

Some day… because dreams do come true…
